What is Your Definition of Retirement?

Many people are choosing early retirement as a career choice, yet since they are so young they still want to do something else. Generally they have no idea what they want to do yet they know they want to do something important, fun and something they can be passionate about. If you are considering early retirement, then perhaps you might decide what your definition of retirement is and remember it is a personal thing.

Currently I am in early retirement and well I have set a few goals for myself. My end goal is to change the World. I would like to turn people back on and get them to think again. And to do this I have decided to employ a few tactics and have come up with my own definition of what retirement is to me.

My definition of retired is being able to choose, when, how, where and why I do what I do, without anyone telling me what to do. In my retirement so far; I generally help people, mostly small businesses, entrepreneurs, research folks, bringing technology to market, etc. I enjoy such things.

Indeed I have retired on my own terms, with my own mission one, which was of my own choosing. I have sold my business, all my accounts and the franchisees have been transferred, released and some were bought out. It makes no sense for me to beat my head against the wall with over regulation and incessant lawsuits. Now, I choose what I want to do, when I want to do it. Retirement can be fun, maybe you might try it?
