Do you find it rather interesting the incredible political firestorm over illegal immigration currently? We have the illegal aliens marching in our streets in protest and waving Mexican flags and making negative comments about the United States of America. These people have come here to make a better life and yet they condemn us for wanting to enforce laws, which have helped make this country so great. If they wanted to break the law, then why didnt they stay in Mexico and break the wall there? The illegal immigration issue today is nothing new, as this is going on for many decades and now it is getting worse as the president of Mexico, Vincent Fox has been telling Mexican citizens to come to the United States and send back money and Mexico's economy has grown at over 5.7 to 9.5 percent each year and today it grows even faster due to the illegal immigration and the monies which have been sent back to families in Mexico. Below is an excerpt from an article that I wrote in 1999 about the illegal immigration and it is definitely something to consider, as we need a reasonable solution right now and we cannot wait on this issue any longer, as we have waited too long already; But if we allow this illegal immigration, we are playing with fire. If we do not do something reasonable now we will have to do something unreasonable tomorrow. I think we have all seen enough of history to know what I am saying. We do not need a repeat of 50 years later here in the US. We just had a glimpse of what happened in Europe. We are leaving the door wide open literally for something not so good to happen. By mid 2002 White People will be a minority in California. This will be an interesting thing to see, what will happen then if we try a more drastic version of the Proposition 187 then? Well here we are in 2006 and we see what is happening now as we try to tighten up our borders you see? Protests and marching in the streets, wow, boy are we headed for a fall if we do not do something soon. Consider all this in 2006. |
