Dare to Succeed and You Will

"I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve.

This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent.

As simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator separating those who live their dreams from those who live in regret" Anthony Robbins

There is another common denominator which separates successful individuals and successful businesses, large or small, from the also-rans - creating and communicating their VISION of what and where they wish to be.

Those who know me will verify that I am certainly not talking about some meaningless statement that people may think looks good in brochures and annual reports but cannot be communicated effectively to those that matter i.e. those that need to make it happen.

In simple terms, a carefully worded and clearly communicated vision...

  • gives us the clarity of Purpose
  • provides the Direction we need
  • facilitates the planning process (without which we will definitely fail)
  • allows us to kick the plan into action - REAL action
  • promotes the passion and desire to succeed
  • drives us, giving us the persistence we need to succeed

Now let's put this into the context of you, me, anyone...

"Inherently, each one of us has the substance within to achieve whatever our goals and dreams define." from Mark Twain

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of ezine articles, ebooks and so on with fancy titles like

How to Succeed with a Millionaires Mind Set or I am going to Reveal the One Secret the Internet Gurus Do Not Want You to Know

The daft thing is, apart from a serious and well written few, most of these articles try to suggest that this is all unique to doing business on the internet.

Sorry, but this is a lot of brown stuff!

Think of your favourite sports star, athlete, business person, mentor. What's the one thing they have in common?

A Sustained Will to Be Successful.

More importantly, think of someone you know or perhaps have read about that battled with a serious illness and won...

This following short poem says succinctly what it would take me pages to explain...

"If you think you're beaten, you are,

if you think you dare not, you don't.

If you like to win, but you think you can't,

it is almost certain you won't.

If you think you'll lose, you're lost,

for out in the world we find,

success begins with a fellows will -

it's all in the state of mind.

If you think you're outclassed, you are,

you've got to think high to rise,

you've got to be sure of yourself

before you can ever win a prize.

Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster person,

but sooner or later the person who wins is the person

    WHO THINKS THEY CAN!"

Napolean Hill's Think & Grow Rich

No, it's not always easy (like me, you probably know that from your own experiences). However, that does not stop it from being true.

As you build your business offline or online,

As you build the resolve to deal with an important challenge,

As you continue to build the lifestyle you perhaps only dream about, build your will to win.
